The trio first collaborated while studying Film & Television Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, on a different web series, about three girls who plot to rob some trash dude. More recently, while developing their first feature, Diet Crime, they decided to make a web series as a sample of their tone and collaborative ability. Inspired by Zoë’s tendency to spiral about the nuances of modern texting, Girl Texts was born.
